User-centered analysis (UCA) is the basis for designing software interfaces that are intuitive and easy to use. The concepts of UCA can also be applied to implementing and improving IT management processes.  In this workshop, you'll learn the methods and concepts to analyze user-centered requirements and apply them to process improvement efforts. Some hands-on individual and group exercises are included to practice applying the concepts presented.

    What you’ll learn:

        Developing a design strategy
Creating user profiles, personas and scenarios
        Developing meaningful interview questions
Tips for carrying out effective interviews
Understanding the challenges of survey design
        Analyzing task flow
        High-level concept of primary nouns
        Developing user-driven information architecture
        Engaging in user-centered task/tool redesign

In addition to learning UCA skills and concepts, you’ll walk away with real-world examples and practical tips from the instructor who is an active UX consultant, along with resource materials and references to help you put the concepts into practice in your own process improvement efforts.  This 2-day workshop is a condensation of what is normally a 3-day class.
